I cannot recommend Glasses Direct highly enough Originally I had a quote for a two new pairs of glasses (distance and reading) from a well-known optical chain for $1000. Glasses Direct provided them for $100. I have just had an upgrade due to a new prescription. Glasses Direct have come to my rescue. After paying something like $200 for my first pair of glasses, I lost them within a month. They did eventually turn up in the washing machine a week later. When I went to the optician the first time, I did wonder why I was expected to pay for his expensive staff and shop overheads with my $200 glasses. After allm, he didn't make them. That would be done by a centralised lab somewhere churning out 1'000's of lenses per day and buying frames in China. I went on the internet to something a bit cheaper and discovered Glasses Direct. A few days later I had a new pair for just $49 that were every bit as good as the lost pair. These new ones lost themselves doewn the bottom of the bed within a week but were recovered two days later. They were a bit bent, so the next pair were bendables that were only $100 and not $300 as advertised by my local optician. When I had one pair I would alwaybs be late for work as I could never find them in the morning. Now I can afford 3 pairs that I leave around the house and pick up from the kitchen, bedroom, toilet, under the settee, or wherever I carelessly discarded them. Thank you Glasses Direct

I'm really pleased with my new glasses from Glassesdirect. The website made things easy, and when I phoned they were extremely helpful and pleasant. I orginally order them as a "cheap spare pair", but now wear them all the time! I prefer my new glassesdirect glasses to the ones I was foolish enough to have paid four-times as much for from a well known optical shop. I am recommending your service to everyone I know!
